Local Man Realizes He's At A Clown Convention
The crypto meet-up was reportedly held in the building next door.
After attending a crypto Twitter meet-up in New York City, one local man was shocked to learn that he'd actually spent the entire day at a clown convention.
"I only realized once I left the building for a smoke and saw the sign," the local man told reporters.
"I thought I had a 30-minute conversation with BitBoy but I later found out it was just a fat man in a clown costume," he continued.
The crypto meet-up was reportedly held in the building next door.
It appears that many attendees from the clown convention also made the same mistake. Local clown Jimbo apparently spent the entire day at the crypto Twitter meet-up.
"I thought I was speaking to my slightly overweight clown friend but it turns out it was someone named BitBoy," Jimbo the clown said in a statement.
In order to avoid confusion next year, organizers for both events have agreed to hold the meet-ups at least 3 miles away from each other in future.
